A classic mid-length sunray pleated skirt in black worsted, of unknown vintage, probably 1960s.  Narrow waistband with bias-cut knife pleats all around, which are narrower at the top than at the bottom, producing an elegant flared effect.  

Side zip with hook & eye fastening. Unlined.
